The villa (sleeps 4)  is an adapted village house with a fine terraced garden and lovely panoramic views of green hills and mountain ranges. Privately run estate. It's great just watching farmers at work in the neighbouring fields,  their goats, sheep, donkeys and cows.  There are many varieties of butterfly, moth and dragonfly and much wildlife. There's a guide book on the local Anatolian flora. Winter months are mild and offer great opportunities for sightseeing and rambling (pool closed  November to March).  Best months for Bird watching: March, April, May and October. Pick your own seasonal fruit ! 

Serious walkers should keep hydrated and of course wear a hat and sunglasses.  In addition to plenty of water, your sack should contain some food, a compass, first aid kit and binoculars. A light walking pole,  sun protector cream and strong boots are a must. Evenings can be chill out of season. Rambling is not recommended mid-summer. Take a guide.

Feeling mid-summer heat ?  If temperatures are soaring, stay by the pool or recline on the Ottoman kosk or visit Saklikent Gorge. A freezing mountain torrent rushes through that canyon. There are also identifiable safe areas to cool yourself in the water.  Temperature details available on request.
